(06) Questions & answers

Good to know

Is Watchwall free?

Yes — it's free while in beta. Down the road there may be an optional one-time upgrade for extra features, but watching streams will always be free.

Do I need a Twitch account?

No. You can search and watch without signing in. Signing in is optional and unlocks your followed channels, chat, and carries over your subscription and Turbo perks.

Is it private and safe?

Yes. Watchwall has no tracking, no ads, and no servers of ours that see your data. Your layouts and settings stay on your computer, and your Twitch sign-in talks directly to Twitch.

Which platforms does it support?

Twitch today. YouTube and Kick are on the roadmap. The app runs on Windows now, with macOS and Linux coming soon.

Does Watchwall block ads?

No. Watchwall uses Twitch's official player and never blocks or skips ads. If you have a Twitch subscription or Turbo, those perks simply apply when you're signed in with your own account.

Is this made by Twitch?

No. Watchwall is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch or Amazon.
